Baby shower for Maya
I am the official baker for this family since they got married. Other than the usual birthday cakes and non-occasional cupcakes, I baked their wedding cupcakes last year and now their baby shower cupcakes and cookies!
Everything was pink in the baby shower – cupcakes, cookies, decorations, the whole table setting. Baby Maya sure is a very lucky little girl!
I made the baby shower cupcakes with a vanilla sponge and strawberry cream cheese icing. I piped the icing on half and topped with little bottles and the other half I covered with pink sugarpaste and decorated with a pink and purple bunting.
Butter cookies came in as little feet with pink strawberry flavour royal icing or bunting made of sugar paste. I also made letter cookies to write Maya
